Optional: Virtual Private Servers (Virtual Machines)
Gold Standard Stealth Accounts…
A virtual machine is a software computer that, like a physical computer, runs an operating system (Windows for example) and applications (Web browsers for example). Every virtual machine has virtual devices (hardware) that provide the same functionality as physical hardware. You can run virtual machines from your own computer (recommended) or rent a virtual machine from a service provider such as Microsoft Azure (Advanced).
In a sense a virtual machine is a fully functional computer. Virtual machines cover browser cookies and flash objects. If created locally you will need to change your IP address before moving forward with stealth account creation. If you decided to rent a virtual machine, your IP address is assigned to you by your service provider (Which can be handy!)
The example below shows an two virtual machines running within a Windows 7 operating system.

Install your own virtual machine
- VMWare Workstation (Trial): Personally I use VMWare. It’s easy to use. Works with any OS (I use Windows 7). And it does what it says it will do.
- Virtual Box (Free): I have not personally used VirtualBox but I like that it’s open source and free.

In general virtual machines can be great because you can easily run multiple accounts at the SAME time while connected to VPNs(if you choose). It’s more advanced then User Accounts or portable browsers but well worth it if you can get your head around the setup. If you have trouble ask in the support forums.
Next we’ll talk talk about manually removing Flash Objects and browser cookies before moving on to changing your IP Address.
