Optional: Virtual Bank Account
Note: Virtual bank accounts in most cases are used simply to verify your PayPal account without risking a traditional bank account. You generally do not use a virtual bank account to withdraw funds or add funds to your PayPal account. Once your PayPal account has been proven, you can then add a proper bank account for withdraws.
Virtual Bank Accounts
You can purchase and register your own virtual bank account or you can use any of the 3rd party service providers:

Prepaid Cards (with attached bank account)
One of the biggest issues with prepaid cards with attached bank accounts are mismatch names. These type of bank accounts do not like mismatch names for deposits. If you withdraw funds to your Prepaid account under a mismatch name they will typically close your prepaid card. As far as getting your PayPal account confirmed, while these cards are possible, they’re generally overkill.

Note: These cards require a SSN and real address to setup similar to any bank account you can open. Compared to VBAs, prepaid cards with attached bank accounts take more work to acquire. They’re expensive and they’re prone to mismatch name troubles.
